A Lock requires a stored procedure that returns either 1 for locked or 0 for not locked.

If the stored procedure contains parameters, these become the Lock Parameters

Cached:

Switches caching on or off for the Lock result based on Lock Parameter combinations.

Cache Lifetime:

If cacheing is enabled, the lifetime (in seconds) determines how long the Lock result is held in cache. A value of 0 causes the Lock result to be held in the cache permanently for the Lock Parameter combination.
